We’ve heard stories of ‘ridesharing’ drivers obsessively texting female passengers, drivers awkwardly putting passengers on the spot for a high rating, drivers committing theft, assault, driving drunk and recklessly, and, of course, drivers attempting to date passengers. A serious problem with Uber is that when things go wrong on a ride, there’s no avenue to address them. Nobody answers the phone. Nobody answers the email complaint.
It’s just you and some guy who’s got your name, possibly your phone number and maybe even knows where you live. If that sounds super scary, well guess what? It is.
