Who the heck is Rasier LLC?
This slipperiness brings to mind the story of Jason Herrera and Nikolas Kolintzas. These two guys were Uber passengers seriously injured one night while being transported in an Uber vehicle. Neither could get insurance money from Uber. According to news reports, Uber said it’s the driver’s fault. Talk to him.
So, they joined the long line of lawsuits against Uber. The point is they were Uber passengers—supposedly covered by the company’s famous $1 million per incident policy—who received absolutely nothing for injuries they sustained while being transported by Uber. We believe this case is important because it indicates that Uber passengers are at serious risk. As does the leaked insurance policy.
Why would any person use this company? Why would any city allow it to operate within its borders?
