‘WHO’S DRIVING YOU?’ A CAMPAIGN AGAINST UNREGULATED TRANSPORTATION COMPANIES UBER, LYFT AND SIDECAR
These companies have rolled into cities across the country and indeed around the world. They insist they shouldn’t be regulated. They insist they are merely technology companies.
Yet these companies are really taxis companies. They dispatch vehicles, take payments from passengers and pay their drivers. If that isn’t a taxi, then what is?
They have a vested interest in reaping enormous profits off the backs of unsuspecting drivers and passengers. Their prey has no idea of the enormous risks they are taking when climbing into a car with a total stranger who has not been properly screened and who doesn’t possess adequate insurance.
We’re here to help YOU, the passenger. We’ve heard plenty of horror stories about trips gone wrong with these companies. Now you can do something about it.
Submit a short summary of your trip on our Incident Report page. We’ll email you back immediately, and we’ll help you file your complaint with local relevant officials and authorities.
And of course, be sure to connect with the campaign on Facebook (whosdrivingyou) and on Twitter (@whosdrivingyou). That’s a great way to stay in touch with us, get regular updates, or ask for help.
We’re glad you’re here. Help us spread the truth about the dangers of these companies.
It all starts with a question:
“Who’s Driving You?”
